The Alzheimer Society of Greater Simcoe (ASGSC) was founded in 1985 by a group of family caregivers. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of persons who are directly affected by Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. The ASGSC provides information, education and support to those afflicted and their caregivers, to help increase public awareness and understanding, to provide support for medical research, and to provide a voice in the public policy arena for those living with Alzheimer's and related dementias.
