YMCA Edmonton

Gerry Segger presents a cheque to Janet Tryhuba to help the ongoing youth programs of the YMCA in Edmonton, and specifically the YMCA Kids' Club.
This wonderful program provides a safe after-school environment for children from low income families and is a strength-based project to build developmental assets in children through pro-social skill development, literacy and recreational activities. These children make new friends and are around positive adult role models. In the summer, YMCA Kids' Club expands into YMCA Kids' University, which is a fun-filled daycamp with a primary focus on literacy and numeracy skills.
