THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF OUR MEMBERSHIP WE GIVE MONEY TO WORTHY CAUSES

The Canadian Million Dollar Round Table Foundation awards grants annually to a variety of charities in communities across Canada. Funded by top life insurance professionals, the Foundation awards up to $5,000 per request to worthy charitable projects recommended by Foundation members.

The Foundation operates on the basis that successful people in the life insurance industry want to give back to their communities. Member pledges have resulted in grants of $1,132,646 since the Foundation's inception in 1995. In 2006, a total of $117,231 was granted to charities throughout Canada. Projects supported by the Canadian MDRT Foundation reflect the caring and sharing spirit of the profession and industry.

Foundation members are members of the Million Dollar Round Table in the year they join the Foundation. Of the 1,117 Canadian MDRT members in 2006, 443 is active Foundation members and have pledged between $1,000 and $50,000. Advocis generously provides the Foundation's office space and services at no cost, allowing the Foundation to reach out to as many Canadian communities as possible each year.
